Warning Description: Wind Advisory

WarningSum:...Wind Advisory In Effect From 9 Am This Morning To Midnight Est
Tonight...

Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Wind
Advisory...which is in effect from 9 am this morning to midnight
EST tonight. 
Southwest winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph this morning with
gusts potentially reaching 50 mph at times. Winds will shift to
the west late this afternoon with strong gusts lasting through the
evening hours. Winds this strong can easily topple and blow away
lightweight items like trash cans and lawn furniture. These items
should be secured or moved indoors.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 31 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially
for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution on tall bridges and
overpasses.
